Another very lovely day, and Anne and Wilma again had tea out of doors, but I stayed in bed till just before supper as I felt very exhausted, all overish.
Had a PC from Lil this morning to say that Jeremy had been taken to the Cottage Hospital yesterday for an emergency operation for acute peritonitis. All was going well. This evening Enid rang up to say that there had been a good bulletin - no complications of any kind.
