1 Pelham Place - Sheepcote
Caught the 9.56 train from Liverpool St and arrived home in time for lunch.
Found Anne busy in the kitchen and looking very fit. Grattan turned up soon afterwards from a ride on Peggy Kelk's mare.
Ke moved the lawns for me near the house in the afternoon but we aren't attempting the tennis court as no petrol is available this summer. On arrival I learnt that Mrs Napier had died last evening.
