Sheepcote
Another lovely day. I went to morning service - church emptier than I had ever known it. For lunch we had pancakes with a lemon from Casablanca which Denis had sent to us.
And very good they were!
This evening we heard on the 9 o'clock wireless that the Russians had captured Rostov.
Wrote to Mr Kells [?] that he could send up to take particulars of Sheepcote, and that I was now thinking of only selling house and garden.
