Sheepcote
Anne feeling poorly and stayed in bed all day, just coming down after supper to listen in to the Prime Minister's speech. Almost entirely on post-war plans.
Mrs Wheeler had a son this morning. Some difficulty in finding the district nurse so I went down to get nurse Ral. [?]
Wilma busier than ever in spite of feeling pretty poorly.

A fine and very long speech by Winston Churchill dealing with post-war plans. At the end he disclosed that the 8th Army was on the move and General Montgomery had wired that all was going well.
