Fine day. I went to church at Holy Trinity, Brompton Road, and afterwards Denis came here, saw Mabel for a few minutes, and we then walked to Speranza and lunched there, and talked over some business matters.
Mabel and I had tea together, and afterwards Carine Cadby [?] came to see her.
In the evening I rang up Sheepcote, and Wilma told me that she had written to Nora George suggesting that she should come for 6 months and see how it worked.
Winston Churchill is back from his African-Turkish tour.
