Enid and I went out to the lunch-hour concert at the National Gallery to hear a Schumann programme by Myra Hess and a fine Dutch singer.
Jack Miller came to tea afterwards. I walked down and sat with Ethel Browning. Enid came over to dine.
Anne rang up and suggested that for various reasons it would be better for me not to go down till Saturday morning.
