Sheepcote
Another fine day. I went to the WI meeting where we had an excellent talk on household jobbery by a Mrs Snowling who is going to give the talks at the May meeting at Sheepcote.
Wilma bought a heifer today from Mrs Holden. Anne rang up Grattan in the evening and heard that he had had no luck in getting a room for them in London tomorrow, but later he rang up to say he had got a room at the Savoy! Anne very pleased and excited. Enid will give her a bed on Sunday night after Grattan has gone back.
