1 Pelham Place
Fine day. In the morning I went to Frank Butler, 5 Finsbury Sq., and had my teeth overhauled.
Dr Atkinson came about lunch time and gave a very encouraging report of Mabel. He thinks the night nurse can go next Tuesday and that she will not be wanting the day nurse for more than another month. Envisages her getting up in the drawing room in about a fortnight's time, and then it should not be long before she gets out of doors.
Jack Miller saw her in the afternoon, and had tea with Enid and me, and Enid had supper here with me.
