Mabel had a very good night and looks wonderfully better. She was expecting Dr Knott this morning to take the blood test, but he is not coming till evening.
I did not sleep much last night and feel tired in consequence, but I got out for some shopping and enjoyed the rainy air. After supper I went over to Enid's to see Eve and Dan who had arrived. It is nearly 4 years since I saw him. He is a very nice intelligent boy.
