Sheepcote
Another cheerless morning but turned into a lovely afternoon and evening.
Very busy packing the hamper for Lil to take up. She left by the 2.20 train. I saw her off. The first time I have been completely alone in the house, but I quite liked it, and did not feel either lonely or nervous.
Rang up Wenham and learnt that Bet was in bed with a headache. All the others functioning and Sarah had not caught the (flu) germ. Anne said she and S would come back on Thursday.
