Sheepcote

Fine day.

This is the 4th anniversary of the start of the war. We listened in to the BBC service at 11 am, and went ot evening service at St Nicholas.A tiny congregation.

In the morning we heard that the 8th Army had landed on the Italian mainland (Calabria).

Mabel’s Mr and Mrs Smith came up in the morning to pick fruit to take back with them to London.
