Sheepcote

A lovly day. In the afternoon, the Hon. Mrs Hotham and a delightful young Dutch sister-in-law Mrs Codlis came to inspect the house. They were sent by Cobbe and Wincer of Ipswich. Mrs Hotham is married to a man in the Navy in Combined Operations. She seemed greatly taken by the place and said she would write at once to her husband about it. They only want the house and garden.

Spectacular advance of the Russians.
