Hester and Awly slept here
Woke to find the first snow of the year. Hester turned up about 5.30 and Awly an hour later, H widly excited at the thought of flying to Ireland on Wednesday.
Wednesday, 17 December
Anne slept here
Hester met Julian Davies at Liverpool St and went straight to the air terminus with their luggage. They lunched here and then went off for their flight to Ireland. Hester's plane did not start till an hour late owing to the gale. Man y were cancelled.
Friday, 19 December
Awly slept here
Anne met Sarah and Alice at Paddington and brought them here for a 12 o'clock lunch, after which they left heavy laden for Liverpool St.
