Just as I was dressing Bet phoned up from Marylebone. She and Johnny were on their way to Notley but they had some time to spare so they came on after eating fish and chips, and we had a delightful talk.
Wednesday, 10 February
Bet had seen hester and the baby and H is to leave the hospital tomorrow.
Saturday, 13 February
Bet rang up in the evening and gave a delightful account of Hester and the baby.
