A cold grey day with some rain in the afternoon. I biked to Halstead to get my hair washed and waved.
Rang up Lil in the evening to get Sister Cole's address for Daphne Pemberton, and heard an excellent account of Mabel. Dr Knott took a blood test this morning and there is a 20% improvement since last time - viz she is now 60% normal.
In the evening I went to a dull but quite peaceful church parochial meeting.
