Sheepcote
A hard white frost in the early morning which turned very foggy, but after lunch we had glorious sunshine and Anne was actually able to sit out a bit.
I did not go to church as there was plenty to do in the house with Bet and Wilma both away. Grattan turned up in time for tea and Bet and Wilma by last train. We had a fine supper waiting for them and a jolly evening. Grattan in great form making Anne up with some of the beauty preparations Denis had brought back with him from Washington.
Wilma had interviewed several applicants for the farm, but nothing is settled.
