Sheepcote
A fine day but cold. I took down some flowers for the decoration of the church. Grattan turned up for lunch. He said Anne looked splendid and was quite satisfied to have a girl. He went back to Braintree after an early tea.

Pippa rang me up and said Wilma was going on all right, but was of course very uncomfortable.

Rang up Mabel and suggested that she and Mrs Studer [?] should come down May 3rd.
