Sheepcote
Lovely summer weather again, but cold. I went to the nursing committee at the Braty's [?] House and we had tea out of doors. Afterwards we packed up a hamper of vegetables and picked flowers for Enid to take back with her. Mrs Monty looked in when we were having supper.
Anne very uncomfortable with signs of having started. Enid anxious to put off her going but I dissuaded her.
Pips rang up after I was in bed to say that Wilma was going into hospital tomorrow, and the operation was fixed for Thursday.
