Enid left by 8 am train. I saw her off at the station.
Anne very uncomfortable all day. After supper we got Dr Bromley to come in, and he said she had definitely started, but it was in the very early stages and she could safely postpone going into hospital till tomorrow. I rang up Bets and also the Braintree Hospital so that they might be warned.
