Sheepcote
A lovely day, but a very worrying one as Wilma was seedy with a pendular colic and seemed quite unfit for all she had to do, though she managed it all, including getting all the heifers safely into a truck to the station. Dr Angus Smith saw her this evening and reassured her that there was no fear of a flare up of appendix trouble, and that she could safely do the journey, and has given her a pain-easing medicine.
I rang up Pips and Bets, both of whom very sympathetic and interested. Anne went to Braintree in Tils's car to see Dr Fagge and he was very pleased with her. He does not think she will go quite her full time.
