Another lovely day.
Amy Birch arrived in time for tea. Enid met her at the station. She is delighted with everything but looks very tired.
Kharkov has fallen and there is great rejoicing in Moscow.
I rang up Bet. She and Alice are tête à tête as the “young visitors” have departed, and Hester & Awly have gone up to spend a few days with Celia Wolface [?] (nanny) at Brixhams [?].
