The Germans have declared a state of emergency in Denmark and placed the whole country under martial law. There are rumours that the king is under arrest.
Mabel and I went to church this morning.
A much nicer day, and we took a walk after tea.
Enid rang up in very good spirits. She has found some old curtains for Anne’s flat.
