Sheepcote

A glorious day. Enid caught the 1.40 bus at our door and went to Wenham just for one night. She took grapes, buns and ginger biscuits from me.

Reg and I took another walk in the evening round by Scotch Pastures.

The fighting in Sicily has ceased. The Germans claim to have evacuated their forces and equipment satisfactorily across the Straits.
