Sheepcote
Another very hot summer day. Reg and Anne went up together to town by the 10 am train. Grattan was meeting Anne and taking her to see a possible flat in the Golders Green locality.
Sarah was left in charge of Mrs Rulton and myself. Enid got back from Wenham in time for a late tea – very hot but very glad to have gone.
Anne got back in time for supper. Very tired. But the flat sounds very much what they want and Grattan intends to make an offer for it.
