Sheepcote

Rather windy, but otherwise fine.

The Smiths brought us up some lovely blackberries for bottling and jamming.

Mabel and I took a walk up by Scotch Pastures.

I rang up Bets in the evening. She said the children were having a fine time with Nanny. Awly was to have gone on to pay a visit to Jennifer Curven, but her heart failed her when it came to the point, so she will return to Wenham tomorrow with Hester.
