Week of 24 April 1950

Tuesday, 25 April

47 Hamilton Terrace

Awly and Alice and Zelee Morris (the 11 year-old head girl at Alice's school) came to lunch. Afterwards Awly took the children to Paddington to seethem off to their school and then went on to Liverpool St to catch her school train for Chelmsford.

Saturday, 29 April

Reg rang up to say he was flush (fluish?) and would not be able to come up for the Murphy wedding today. Of course I did not care to go without him. In fact I did not stir out of doors and spent all the morning in bed. I felt pretty mouldy but better in the evening. I gave Hildegard an English lesson after supper.
