Awly cooked breakfast for Alice and Sarah before starting off for work. She handed me two letters Bet had had from Hester saying they had decided to leave Cloni? and would be back in England almost immediately! A right decision I am sure. The children came down with me to Clifton Road to get our lunch and afterwards I saw them off at Paddington.
Thursday, 23 April
Cicely Hessey-White came to tea.and we sat out on the loggia afterwards. I had not seen her since Pippa's wedding day.
