Nicky slept here
Nicky turned up at 4 o'clock looking blazingly well and happy. She had been driven up by Gordon Wells in an open car. After a good tea she went straight off to bed and slept solidly for 14 hours! She was in tremendous spirits.
Wednesday, 13 June
Nicky slept here
After a late breakfast Nicky went off shopping, lunched with Awly and did not turn up till teatime. We had a very interesting tête à tête and went to bed early.
