Pippa and Bet slept here
Went down to the eye clinic this morning and Bridgeman told me I can go home tomorrow but I am to carry on with the drops etc. and see him regularly. Better than I could have hoped. Bet turned up in afternoon and we arranged that she should come and fetch me tomorrow ar 2 o'clock.
Mabel came in the evening and brought me the news that Pippa had arrived safe and sound at the Hamilton.

Pippa and Bet slept here
Had a last electric treatment. Packed after lunch and Bet arrived at 2 o'clock, and we drove out to the Hamilton where Pips was on the doorstep. Quite unchanged. I stayed up till after supper - mostly on the sofa. Pips and I were tête à tête in the evening as Bet was baby-watching for Awly and James.

Pippa and Bet slept here
Pippa and Betty very busy all day. I walked to the bottom of Hall Rd before lunch. My first walk for more than 6 weeks. Bet took Johnny to a film. Pips had tea with Awly. Reg came to tea with me. My eye feels much more comfortable.
