Bet and Alice slept here
Bet arrived before lunch and later went to DH Evans for a hairdo. She came back in time for tea and Pont arrived soon afterwards, and they went off afterwards to meet Alice at Victoria and took her out to see The House by the Lake.
Saturday, 2 March
Bet and Alice slept here
Bet and Alice went to see War and Peace and were enthusiastic about it.
Sunday, 3 March
Bet and Alice joined Pont to breakfast with Jean in Chelsea then on to the Oratory. Before their return I heard from James that Awly has measles! All plans changed and Bet will move across to look after her. She and Pont saw Alice off to school and Pont returned to his friends.
