Another glorious day, not so oppressively hot as yesterday.
The last day of Wings for Victory week and the wind-up was in the castle grounds. I helped serving teas for the Essex Regiment Band.
Busy part of the day packing a hamper of country produce for Mrs Smith to take back with her tomorrow morning.
Grattan turned up this evening in time for supper.
