Monday, 18 November

Wilma, slept here

47 Hamilton Terrace

Went to Broadcasting House in the evening with Geraldine Noyes to hear Benjamin Britten and Peter Pears.

Mr Cedercrona's sixth treatment.

Tuesday, 19 November

Wilma and Oswald slept here

Dr Moncrieff came to see me in the morning and was very pleased. Blood pressure 160.

Went to sit with Lil and afterwards had tea with General and Mrs Davies. Wilma had supper at Hampstead. Oswald spent the night here.

Dr Moncrieff's eighth visit.

Wednesday, 20 November

Wilma slept here

An enervating day but felt well and shopped morning and afternoon. Wilma had supper with Patience.

Dr Swanberg's fourth treatment.

Thursday, 21 November

Wilma and Pippa slept here

Pippa and Oswald arrived about 12 o'clock, but Oswald just on his way through. Pippa had a tooth out. Anne and Sarah came to tea, and Grattan fetched them home.

I felt quite overtired.

Friday, 22 November

Wilma and Pippa slept here

Felt poorly and stayed in bed till teatime. Went with Pippa to the Lyric Theatre to see The Winslow Boy. Very good entertainment.

Saturday, 23 November

Wilma slept here

Wilma and Bawtrees went off early in the car to see a house near Tunbridge Wells. Weren't back till a late supper.

Pippa left about 10.30 to drive to Seaford to take Philippa out to lunch and then on to CH.

I lunched at Vegas and then went into the Leicester Square Theatre expecting to see School for Secrets, but found I had got the wrong cinema. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0038911/A horrid wet day and I felt very tired.

Sunday, 24 November

Wilma slept here

Stayed in bed most of the morning. Wilma and I lunched here. Margot came in the car in the afternoon, and brought me down to see her flat. I then had tea with Mabel and afterwards went to see Enid and Eve. Tess and Jenny came to tea with Wilma.

Very wet and windy.
