In the evening attended Olivia Raymond's cocktail party down below. She made a charming hostess and I met some nice people but I was too tired to enjoy it.
Saturday, 26 November
I bussed down to South Ken in the morning and got some jewellery out of the bank, took it to Hardy for re-evaluation, fetched my new hat from Jane Morris, bought my 1950 diary from Harrods, etc. etc.
Felt very tired and unreasonably depressed. Rang up Troughend in the evening and spoke to Anne and Bram. All well.
