Awly slept here
Bet rang up early to say that Alice was in bed with a temp and could not come up. Pont also ill. I managed to get in touch with Awly at the Polytechnic and met her later and gave her lunch at the Phoenix Snack Bar. She came to tea and then went on her own to the Scala as there were two stalls for Peter Pan. We had not been able to cancel them.
The Eagle Oil London agent rang up to say the Fleckers were still at Rotterdam as the San Amado had developed some fresh trouble. They hoped she would start tomorrow.
