Awly and Sarah slept here
Sarah arrived in a taxi an hour late but in time for lunch. Afterwards we bussed to Oxford St and saw Selfridges from the outside, and bought hot chestnuts. Home for tea. Awly turned up soon after. Anne rang up later from Abbeylands [?] to hear if S had arrived. All well there.
Saturday, 19 December
Awly and Sarah left at 8 o'clock, quite unnecessarily early, and A saw S off in the 9 am train at St Pan cras for Hellifield.
Sunday, 21 December
Enid, Eve and Negley left for Devon this morning.
