I caught the 10.28 train from marylebone to Aylesbury where hester met me in their new Javelin. A very pretty and comfortable car. She was looking well and very nice and Louise is an absolute pet. They gave me a lovely lunch including asparagus and afterwards they drove me and the baby over to Studleywhere Wilma had a free hour and we picked lily of the valley. Back to Notley for tea and home by 7.30.
