Both the dock strike and the bus strike continue , but the No. 16 is running and I met Pippa at Victoria at 10.45 to collect the lovely flowers she had brought me up. She then went off to shop but came on here about 3.30 and we had 2 hours together before I bussed down with her to Victoria where she caught the 6.18 train for CH.
Sunday, 17 October
After supper Audrey Wethered turned up quite unexpectedly. I would rather have gone to bed!
Dock strike and bus strike continue.
