Awly, Alice and Sarah slept here
Awly turned up at 6, seedy with catarrh and violent headache, so took disprin and lay on the sofa. Alice and Sarah turned up an hour later in the best of spirits, and greatly enjoyed their supper, ending up with strawberries. Awly and I tackled her picnic lunch.
Saturday, 24 July
Everything started wrong as Radio Taxis were not functioning. However, Awly saw Sarah safely off at St Pancras and Alice and I went off later to Liverpool St where I saw her into the 10.30 train for Stowmarket, but she had to stand the whole way!
