Week of 29 October 1956

Tuesday, 30 October
St George's Hospital
My cataract eye was unbound and I got out of my repulsive operation clothes and into a proper nightgown. Reg came to visit me. The nicest of all visitors.
Saturday, 3 November
Mr Bridgeman saw me and said I could leave the hospital next Tuesday.
Very exciting. All arrangements made for me. Dickie will drive me down and Wilma will meet me at the Hamilton and do my packing and lunch with me.

  1. Why are you posting as Denis Capel-Dunn?
Is there something sinister going on here?

    1. A bit too complicate to explain, but nothing sinister!
