Week of 16 March 1959


Wednesday, 18 March 
47 Hamilton Terrace 
Bram and Anne slept here 
Bram lunched out and got back for tea. Met Anne at Victoria at 7.45 and we had supper in the kitchen. Anne looked well though tired. A happy evening. 
Thursday, 19 March 
Hester, Louise and Paul arrived at 12 o'clock. Talk and drinks before an early lunch. Peter Hiley arrived at 2.30 and drove H to 80 Clifton Court - finally decided. Anne, Bram and Paul left soon after for RamsgateMonga stayed with me and listened enthralled to "Lotty's visit to Grandmama". Hester collected her and after a very scrappy tea they left for Notley. 
Friday, 20 January 
Much phoning to Liverpool St about berths for Barnaby and Johnny on the Harwich-Hook of Holland boat on Easter Monday. All 2nd class booked so I have had to take two 1st class ones.
