As cold and sunless as ever. Hester rang up - just back at Notley where she found all well. She had left Awly and the children all well though she thought Awly a bit tired. Then Pippa rang up from Reading. I suggested driving up on Saturday morning and staying till Wednesday. Awfully nice and she will see Mabel who is lunching here on Saturday.
